How Tutoring Works
At LittleQuills Tutoring, each class is personalized to your child’s pace, learning style, and goals.
Sessions include:
Individual (1:1), Sibling, or Small Group formats
Step-by-step lessons using IEW or Lost Tools of Writing
Confidence-building instruction in writing and grammar
Regular feedback and parent communication

Class Details
When you enroll, your child will receive:
Weekly private sessions lasting 45, 60, or 75 minutes
Structured lessons following the IEW or Lost Tools of Writing curriculum
Integrated grammar instruction to strengthen writing skills
Supportive encouragement and gentle accountability
Flexible scheduling designed for homeschool families
📌 Families will need to purchase the appropriate IEW student books.
Session Plans & Pricing
Families may choose private coaching, join a small group, or form their own sibling or custom group. Instruction is personalized to your student and their writing curriculum.
Private Coaching Sessions
- 45-Minute Writing or Grammar — $45/session
Recommended for ages 8–11 - 60-Minute Writing & Grammar — $60/session
Recommended for ages 10–16 - 75-Minute Advanced Writing & Literature — $75/session
Recommended for high school students enrolled in advanced writing or literature courses
Small Group Writing & Grammar Classes (3–5 Students)
Engaging, collaborative learning with guided instruction, individualized feedback, and rich discussion.
- 60-Minute Writing & Grammar — $30/student
- 75-Minute Advanced Writing, Grammar, & Literature — $35/student
