Welcome to LittleQuills Tutoring

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each class to match your child’s pace, learning style, and goals. I offer individualized IEW Writing, Grammar, and Lost Tools of Writing classes for students ages 8–16.

Each week, I work directly with your child—step by step—through the complete IEW or Lost Tools of Writing curriculum. My goal is to help each student build a strong foundation in writing and grammar using proven methods in a supportive, structured, and confidence-building environment tailored to their needs.

With over 30 years of homeschool experience, I understand how to help students grow step by step without overwhelm.

IEW Writing, Grammar & Literature

In this 75-minute class, students explore history in a deeper, more meaningful way while developing strong writing, grammar, and critical reading skills. Lessons combine structured writing, grammar practice, and lively literature discussions to help students understand and connect with the era they are studying.

Students learn to organize ideas clearly, communicate persuasively, and think critically—all while applying grammar and writing skills directly to fascinating historical topics. Small groups or one-on-one instruction ensures each student receives personalized guidance and feedback.
